Our Elm Road friend Mrs. Vargo is traveling again! This time she is in Rome with her husband and some friends. We met up near the Pantheon to take them to our favorite gelato place. After gelato we walked over to Piazza Navona to show them the Fountain of the Four Rivers. Great fun to see her!-Terri

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful experience for you and your family. I actually lived near Padua for a couple of years before Nikki was born. I just loved it there. I found the Italians to be gracious and joyous but possibly the worst drivers in the world. I developed a serious addiction to panne with unsalted butter in my time there and loved going to the open market every week. Florence was my favorite city. We lived about 40 miles or so from Venice, but there were so many tourists there, it wasn't as appealing as it should have been. I hope you enjoy, enjoy, enjoy your time there.
